Does a custom angle crop the corners?
No — the canvas grows to fit the rotated image, so nothing is cut off. The new file's dimensions adjust accordingly.
Does rotating lose quality?
Right-angle turns are mathematically lossless. Free angles resample once, which at normal quality settings is invisible.
