How it works

  1. Drop the PDF

The tool reads the text layer, page by page.

  2. Review the result

Text appears in the box below with --- page --- markers. Copy what you need, or take the whole thing as .txt.

  3. Download or copy

One click for the whole document; the copy button is there for a single paragraph.

Questions people actually ask

The text came out empty. Why?

That PDF is a scan — it's a picture of text, not text itself. Use the OCR tool to read scans.

Are tables and columns preserved?

Roughly. Text comes out in reading order, so simple tables survive and complex multi-column layouts may need tidying.
